What each one does
Both look for prices that sit above what the wider market implies. Trademate calls the output a value bet; PandaBet calls it positive expected value against modelled true odds. Same idea.
Trademate's plan list describes a value bet finder across its bookmaker list, unlimited customisable filters, real time odds updates and alerts, an odds comparison tool, performance and portfolio tracking, and optional extras for backtesting and in play value bets. Its top tier adds sharp bookmakers and customisable trading algorithms.
PandaBet scans eight Australian bookmakers, Sportsbet, TAB, Ladbrokes, Neds, PointsBet, Bet365, Unibet and TopSport, for positive expected value and cross book arbitrage, and posts each hit to a members' Discord with the market, the books and the numbers attached. It adds cross book arbitrage, which is a second method rather than a variation on the first.
Coverage: books and sports
Trademate publishes three plans with different coverage. Its United States plan lists ten United States bookmakers and four sports: American football, baseball, basketball and ice hockey. Its middle plan lists more than one hundred bookmakers, naming Bet365, Unibet and William Hill as examples, and all nine of its sports. Its top plan adds sharp bookmakers.
Two of the books it names, Bet365 and Unibet, operate in Australia. A brand name on its own does not tell you whether the Australian licensed operator is the one being scanned, and no Australian book list appeared on its pricing page, so this page makes no claim about its Australian coverage. Ask them about the specific books you hold accounts with.
PandaBet's eight are named, fixed and Australian licensed. Sports VIP covers baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, AFL, NRL, cricket and ice hockey, plus Australian thoroughbred racing, which Horses VIP covers on its own.
Why this page does not compare the prices
Competitor pricing and features were checked against each company's own site on 2 September 2026. They change theirs whenever they like, so treat the figures below as a starting point and confirm them before you pay anyone.
Trademate's pricing page lists three monthly plans at 49, 120 and 400 a month, with a seven day free trial and no card required. It prints those figures without a currency symbol and without a currency code.
That means we cannot say what they convert to, and a comparison built on a guess about the currency would be worth nothing. So this page makes no price comparison at all. If price is what decides it, ask Trademate which currency you would be billed in and compare it yourself.
For the record on our side: PandaBet is $24.99 a week for Horses VIP and $34.99 a week for Sports VIP, or $89 and $129 a month, in Australian dollars, charged in full immediately with no trial.
Where PandaBet fits better
On Australian markets. AFL, NRL and Australian thoroughbred racing are covered here. Trademate's published sports counts do not name them.
On arbitrage as well as value. Trademate's plans are built around a value bet finder; PandaBet detects cross book arbitrage alongside positive expected value, which is a different method with a different risk profile.
On the commitment. A week costs $24.99. Trademate's plans are monthly.
Where Trademate fits better
On bookmaker breadth, if its list includes the books you use. More than one hundred against eight is not close.
On tracking. Performance and portfolio tracking is in its plan list. PandaBet has no bet tracker, so nothing here records or reports what you placed.
On trying before buying. A seven day free trial with no card is a lower risk first step than paying for a week.
On filtering and control. Unlimited customisable filters and, on its top plan, customisable trading algorithms are a level of configuration PandaBet does not offer at all.
What PandaBet does not do
Three gaps, and Trademate's own plan list covers the second and third in its own way:
- There is no web dashboard. Alerts arrive in Discord and that is the whole interface.
- There is no mobile app. Members read alerts in the Discord app like any other message.
- There is no bet tracker. Nothing records what you staked, settles it or reports your results back to you.
Who should choose which
Choose Trademate if you want breadth of bookmakers, if you want your results tracked and reported for you, if you want fine grained filters, or if you want to trial the method before paying anything.
Choose PandaBet if you bet with Australian books, if Australian racing, AFL or NRL is a meaningful part of what you do, or if you want arbitrage detection alongside value and delivery straight to Discord.
